Max Factor pan stick concealer...Mistake No.1

My skin has its ups & downs....and my skin was very badly down when i got this concealer. My skin had bad marks on them and I felt the need to hide them...So the thought of getting a concealer enetered my mind.

I went to Beauty centre & went to various counters looking for a concealer...I really wanted to buy a Chambor one...but their shades were too light for me...I looked like a clown after applying their concealer :(

So the next counter was the max factor counter...the SA showed me a few concealers & convinced me to buy one of them (she actually tricked me ;) by saying dat it hid all my marks)....so i ended up buying the max factor pan stick concealer....

After coming home i realised that i had made a mistake & my money went down the drain....the color...it does nothing for me...it doesnt even hide my marks ...and its so cakey.................shit !!!!!!!!

The color I got is 14 Cool Copper...online the reviews are amazing...but my personal experience has been bad....the stick is very creamy...it applies well...but it even goes off equally fast...the staying power is not very long...

So right now this concealer sits in my drawer doing nothing at all....I dont even have the slightest idea as how can i make it work...If you guys have any suggestions then do lemme know...

After getting this I decided that henceforth I would not buy any product without researching it thoroughly !!

Nyx Eyeshadows

Everyone seems to be a little tight around the pocket these days and what better way to maneuver around your new cosmetic budget than to try out new brands.

NYX eyeshadows have been compared to MAC eyeshadows in terms of quality. They are very pigmented and are of good quality. The regular eyeshadows come in a square pan.

These ones have excellent pigmentation. The colours are intense and stay on for hours. The colour selection is large and in a word – amazing. I’d definitely say these are worth every single penny,

the colours are very opaque and can work as an eyeliner if you wet your eyeliner brush and sweep some colour onto it.

I think there are like a hundred or so colors to choose from in almost every shade and in multiple finishes to choose from.

i didn't think i could find such good quality eyeshadows at such an awesome price! definitely recommend! i'll be going back to get more colours! :) love it love it!

So the next time you go to a store that stores Nyx just go & try it out...I am sure you will not be disappointed. In Mumbai I buy Nyx from Beauty centre, so if you live here then you definitely need to check it out.

Also these shadows can double up as your blush :))

L'oreal true match foundation

I was in search for a light foundation that I could wear everday & I stumbled upon the L'oreal true match foundation. The foundation is gud especially for those who have clear skin as the level of coverage is light to medium.

I apply this foundation with my fingers as the consistency is runny but it blends on well with a foundation buffing brush as well.

The only bad aspects of this product that I see is the packaging. One gotta be careful otherwise a huge amount of product just runs out of the glass bottle.

My foundation shade I got is W7 - Caramel beige which is dark for me....so i guess i wasted my money. The shade lighter than this (W6) was not available & W5 was too light for me.

I apply this only during the day but still it makes me look dark :( well this foundation lasts for a long time & it doesnt even look cakey which is very good. Another plus point is that it gives you a dewy look..I put on powder of a lighter shade to make this foundation work for me.

But if you find a color that suits your skin color then nothing like it & u will surely fall in love with this foundation.

I like dewy looks as my skin is combination type...but I am not sure if people with oily skin will be able to pull off this one !!

Blends perfectly, skin looks dewy, never heavy.

My Love..My Foundation

I love this product to pieces. I have used many different foundations and this is by far the best. This foundation is the one i keep going back to.

Coverage wise the foundation gives me full coverage, thats enough to cover my scars and skin discoloration.
The consistency is very thick but its blendable, it makes my skin feel so soft and amazing.

While it is a bit on the expensive side; MAC's Studio Fix is the best when it comes to even out skin tones and for long day wear.
But in the Mumbai weather the foundation does come off when you sweat excessively. So i wouldnt recommend it if you are going out on a hot afternoon....but for the evenings, its purrfect!!

My shade is NC42 and its too yellow, but it blends out very evenly on my skin and the effect is amazing. The first time I used this foundation it broke me out but it dint deter me from using it again. Even the second time it broke me out again...That time i was slightly disappointed cos for the price I was paying I did not expect the foundation to break me out. But I dint give up & again when i applied for the third time..I was lucky...Thankfully it dint break me out this time. Since then I havent had any problems with this foundation. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, steer clear of this one.

I also dislike the fact that I have to buy a pump seprately. Other than that I loooove this foundation!
